Is that a Masjid? Or a Bungalow?

Program Anak Pintar Soleh 12-13 Dec 091.jpg

As-salaamu'alaikum,

Alhamdulillah - I participated in this motivation program for teens "Program Anak Pintar Soleh" organized by Astac Training & Consultancy. This program was held at Masjid an Najihin, Padang Sebang, Melaka from 12-13 December 2009 and was lead by Dr. Azmi Mohd Shah. MashaAllah it was quite a while since I involved in this kind of program, and to be as a facilitator was quite challenging as well. I arrived at the masjid around 620pm, after accidentally went to Pulau Sebang (which is actually quite a far away from Padang Sebang itself). There were around 120 teens registered for that program - mashaAllah.

I noticed that the masjid was stunningly beautiful. The interior was beautifully designed and 6-7 air conds were equipped around the prayer hall!

The program started at 6pm with a briefing. Then we had our dinner and proceed for salatul maghrib. After that Dr. Azmi gave a short lecture, basically talking about the Muslim identity and issues with our young Muslims nowadays. We then prayed the Isha' prayer and after that we had the main module designed for them - Anak Pintar Soleh. The module lasted for 2 hours =p

At 3:30am we woke up for the qiyaamulayl. We had another short lecture after salatul fajr, and had a breakfast together.

I really enjoyed this program. InshaAllah hopefully I can be more involved with this kind of program in the future. I enjoyed talking with our youth, to share with them my experiences, and to understand their thoughts as well.

p/s: Suddenly I missed Olive Tree Education a lot..
